OpenDLT Securities

Methodology

OpenDLT Securities records what can be demonstrated, not what might theoretically be possible. Infrastructure capability is never attributed to an instrument unless instrument-level evidence exists.

Source hierarchy

Primary registers and issuer documents outrank venue claims; venue/operator documents outrank press. Press is used for discovery only — never to assert an issuer or settlement fact.

Evidence states

Original scientific result — G0_FAIL

The original preregistered experiment (G0) failed: issuer coverage, instrument type, instrument-bound settlement, cash leg and strict deep traces did not meet frozen thresholds. This verdict is permanent and was not reinterpreted.

A subsequent source-exhaustion challenge (G0-R) showed issuer/type coverage was materially affected by the original source map — counterfactual coverage reached ~93–95%. Settlement, cash and deep-trace findings remained outside that challenge. The product proceeded under a ratified reduced scope: universal promise on legal representation, register and observability; deep layers only where evidence exists.

Capability ≠ use

An operator offering settlement services is not evidence that a given instrument settles through them. Capability, availability, use and transaction evidence are separate states.

Technical corroboration

Ledger objects were probed publicly (RPC, Sourcify, register lookups) during frozen capture windows. "No Sourcify match observed" does not mean "unverified" — it is a search result.

Snapshot semantics

All data comes from a frozen snapshot. The product makes no live calls; links to original sources are provided for verification. Historical metrics shown here describe the original experiment, not current product coverage — see coverage.
